Stop new fossil fuel project in Philly!

Philadelphia Gas Works is proposing a massive fossil fuel project that is expected to generate 120,000 gallons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) every day from their South Philly facility. This will make it even harder to reduce our reliance on dirty fossil fuels and avoid the worst effects of climate change. While Philly elected officials have pledged to go fossil fuel free, they're on the verge of breaking that promise if they allow this project to move forward.

City Council and Mayor Kenney have the final say on whether this project can move forward. Call on Philadelphia City Council and Mayor Kenney to oppose this short-sighted, dangerous proposal.
