Stop effort to strip PA cities from tackling plastic pollution

In the dead of night, politicians in Harrisburg snuck language into a bill (SB712) that would make it harder for Pennsylvania cities to tackle litter and pollution from single use plastics. If passed, this legislation will ban cities in Pennsylvania from working to pass local bans on plastic bags and single-use styrofoam food containers until January 2021. This vote could come up this morning (June 27th), so email your legislators today and ask them to vote against this anti-environmental proposal!
