Mental Health and Climate Change Webinar

Join PennEnvironment and experts from around Pennsylvania to discuss the connection between mental health and climate change.

Eco-anxiety -- feelings of helplessness and fear about the future of climate change -- has been on the rise as the impacts of the climate crisis begin to affect our communities, but we can work together to combat both. During the panel, we’ll talk about how we can work as communities and individuals to alleviate eco-anxiety and take meaningful action to fight the growing climate crisis.

During the event, we’ll hear from:

  • Flora Cardoni, Field Director for PennEnvironment
  • Dr. Mary Beth Mannarino, clinical psychologist and former Director of Graduate Psychology Programs at Chatham University
  • Dr. Scott Kalafatis, Chatham University’s expert in climate change and its impact on human society and communities
  • Dr. Daniel Wolk, M.D., Physicians for Social Responsibility
  • and more!

We’ll also have time for attendees to ask questions and give you some simple ways to take action to fight climate change in your community.
